I am taking 5 classes this semester and on the first day of one of my classes I saw a girl that looked extremely familiar, I was pretty sure I went to high school with her but wasn't positive. Lets call her 'X'. The girl that I was thinking about moved across the country senior year so that's why I didn't think it was her. How random would it be for somebody I went to high school with to move across the country and back, go to Baruch, and end up in one of my classes. I just didn't think that would happen. And as the semester went along I wasn't 100% positive it was her so I didn't want to say anything. In this class we were going over the groups for the end of the semester project and the professor said her name, and I was like, it must be her. How many people have the same name and look just like the person I was thinking it was?! Later that week, I walked into class and 'X' calls out my name!! It was her. Then we start talking and talking about what other classes we are taking and we realize we are in another class together. What a small world!!

My First Blog

Hi Everyone,

This is my first real blog where I am writing about what I choose. Last year, for one of my classes, I had to set up a blog and after we would do in-class activities we would have to blog about it. So because of this, I never blogged about whatever I wanted, it was always what somebody had told me to blog about.

So...I'm not really sure where to start other than I am exhausted!!!

I currently live at home (on Long Island) with my mom, brother and sister. This past week, my mom was in Ireland visiting her mom so I was 'in charge' at my house. By siblings are not really young (17, and 15) however with my mom being away it added a little more to my plate. In addition to my mom being away, my uncle (on the other side of the family) passed away, so I had some of my family staying at my house which added another layer of sadness and stress. In addition to all of this, I just started a new job about 2 weeks ago and I am now going to school full time and working about 25 - 30 hours a week. Doing all of this and finding time for studying, school work, my boyfriend, and time for myself to relax is quite difficult.
